You and I both want it
But not for the same reasons.
It is what needs be done
but not now, not today.
	
I think I understand why
You want my heart to open.
But I will keep it closed
For as long as you're with me.
	
You might think I don't love you.
In truth, I love another.
But that just doesn't mean that 
I do not love you too.
	
I wish that I could tell you
That I just long for feelings.
The ones you feel for me.
The ones I feel no more.
